DISCLAIMER: This was supposed to be published back in November but for some reason it never uploaded until now.
Last night I had the chance to watch Dormtainment live at Gramercy Theater in NYC. I’m so glad that I didn’t miss this opportunity. As I’ve stated in my video below, I’ve been a fan of theirs for years. I would spend hours watching their videos and having the chance to see them live was amazing!
Shoutout to my boy Mike Cooke for shooting throughout the entire show. I hope to learn under him someday.
Also, I want to shoutout Taye. He said during his solo piece that if you’re from Detroit, you love your city and you’re proud to be from there.
(Cam’s eyes 😂😂😂😂)
As you can see I had the pleasure of meeting Taye, Rome and Cam. Unfortunately I didn’t meet Mike, Chaz and Emmanuel because I had to leave. However, I would like to end this post with a video message about last night and a thanks to Dormtainment for being inspiring and doing what they do best, making me laugh.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s the moment we’ve all be waiting for…
…everything we’ve done has gotten us to this point…
…we’ve complained, rebelled, cried, screamed, and told the ugly truth…
…and now…we are no longer employed and the start of road to our dream is right in front of us…
Can you take the first step?
Yesterday we went to AfroPunk in Brooklyn.
I’m really mad that I didn’t take a lot of pictures. I guess I was so caught up in the moment and preserving my battery that I wasn’t thinking too much about it.
We met Jessica from The Daily Show!
Not sure what she’s up to now that John Stuart left but I’m sure it will be wonderful.
And here are protestors protesting for rights for transgender people! 😄👋🏾 Christina!
And here is a little snip from SZA’s performance
And although I didn’t take any photos of myself 😓 here are a few out takes featuring Christina!
Stay loving my friends! Love your life, what you do, the people you meet and most importantly, yourself.

So that’s it. Others are a more demanding than the others but I believe that I can do it. 😊
Yesterday was a trying day.
I lost my ID card (that I’ve had for years), my debt card and my health insurance card.
I spent $400 unnecessarily and I had a falling out with a person that I cared about.
But you know what. Through all of this I remain positive. I believe I will get my ID back. I can’t get back that $400 I spent. And the dude that is mad at me really has no legitimate reason to be upset.
Soooo…It’s all good!
I woke up this morning, went on my roof, talked to God, listened to two inspirational songs and now I am here writing this post.
A reminder to my self and all you folks out there…
When things aren’t going right we have to remember that everything is relative and we become enlightened through our experiences. We are human. We are not perfect and when someone has you on a pedestal and you do something that is deemed as “un-pedestal like” you have to remind them of this (this happens to me often). We’re naturally selfish people but we have to fight against that. And we also have to remember that everything…EVERYTHING…happens for a reason. Whether or not we know the reason, whatever occurred, occurred for a reason. We need to be thankful that God has blessed us with another day to start fresh and have a news adventure.
Sending you light, love and good vibes.
In celebration of the weekend here is the music video of Priory’s hit song, “Weekend”
