Yesterday we went to AfroPunk in Brooklyn.
I’m really mad that I didn’t take a lot of pictures. I guess I was so caught up in the moment and preserving my battery that I wasn’t thinking too much about it.
Not sure what she’s up to now that John Stuart left but I’m sure it will be wonderful.
And here are protestors protesting for rights for transgender people! 😄👋🏾 Christina!
And here is a little snip from SZA’s performance
And although I didn’t take any photos of myself 😓 here are a few out takes featuring Christina!
1. Become better at meditating
2. Start training to get a bikini body so I can enter into a swimsuit contest next summer.
3. Take an improv/acting/hosting class
4. Start YouTube channel
5. Learn how to do flawless makeup
7. Make a wig
8. Go to another country that isn’t Mexico, Canada or the U.S.
9. Dye my hair (jury is still out on this one)
10. Have over 1,000 subscribers to my channel.
So that’s it. Others are a more demanding than the others but I believe that I can do it. 😊
As you all may know, on Friday June 26, 2015 Same Sex couples are now allowed to be legally married in all 50 states.
I had the chance to be a part of this historic celebration during the 2015 PRIDE week. Below are a few snaps and pictures from this weekend’s craziness. I had better photos and videos on my snapchat but I didn’t save them to my phone as I should have. Oh well…there’s always next year!
Yesterday was a trying day.
I lost my ID card (that I’ve had for years), my debt card and my health insurance card.
I spent $400 unnecessarily and I had a falling out with a person that I cared about.
But you know what. Through all of this I remain positive. I believe I will get my ID back. I can’t get back that $400 I spent. And the dude that is mad at me really has no legitimate reason to be upset.
Soooo…It’s all good!
I woke up this morning, went on my roof, talked to God, listened to two inspirational songs and now I am here writing this post.
A reminder to my self and all you folks out there…
When things aren’t going right we have to remember that everything is relative and we become enlightened through our experiences. We are human. We are not perfect and when someone has you on a pedestal and you do something that is deemed as “un-pedestal like” you have to remind them of this (this happens to me often). We’re naturally selfish people but we have to fight against that. And we also have to remember that everything…EVERYTHING…happens for a reason. Whether or not we know the reason, whatever occurred, occurred for a reason. We need to be thankful that God has blessed us with another day to start fresh and have a news adventure.
Sending you light, love and good vibes.
In celebration of the weekend here is the music video of Priory’s hit song, “Weekend”
Woah. Great. Read.
Incredible art. Absolutely stunning!
I decided to take a picture of the sun making its morning debt in the Brooklyn sky. Today is gonna be a good day.
Starting a new blog is always refreshing. I don’t know how many “blogs” I have lurking out here in cyberspace. I just hope no one else finds them.
So I left Tumblr to come to WordPress. Everytime I start a blog on Tumblr it becomes saturated with stuff because I, like other Tumblr users, like to collect pictures, quotes, links, etc. I do see now that WordPress has become similar to Tumblr but I’m going to do my very best to be sure that this blog only focuses on me and my life.
So here we go again. Maybe this time around I’ll get this blogging thing right.
